Cavriana...our beautiful country, maintains its original structure of an ancient fortified village, dominated by the majestic fortress, and offers the opportunity to discover two important historical and environmental treasures: the Villa Mirra park and the Romanesque Church of the Pieve, connected by a suggestive pedestrian path.
In Villa Mirra, you will find the Archaeological Museum, where you can admire a vast collection of Roman artifacts recovered during excavations and findings.
The Church of the Pieve is one of the most important monuments in the Upper Mantua area, built in the 11th century. Inside, you can admire frescoes from the 14th century, while outside you can enjoy a spectacular view up to the mountains of the Apennines.
