Our B&B is at Cuirone district of Vergiate near the lake, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in a quiet, panoramic setting. "Baubaus House" is a lovely, refined building, a period building where echoes of the past blend with modern comfort.

I am a lady who likes good food...
Cuirone was the holiday resort of Giorgio my husband's family for many generations.
We bought our home because it was unique and we have carefully preserved.
We moved here from Milan many years ago and in 1987 we founded a cultural association to treat the memory and preservation of Cuirone and its history.
We had no children, but our house has always welcomed many nephews and friends.

Giorgio had his studio here.
At the top of the atelier has made ??Baubaus House. The name is a play and a long history that was inspired by an exhibition with other friends and artists.
We decided to rent Baubaus House because we like to meet new people who appreciate these simple places. After the death of Giorgio, I turned the atelier in the archive of the works of Giorgio and the association. The Space Giorgio Ostini hosts sometimes works of other artists, so it continues to live with his generous spirit.
