GROSIO - prov. di Sondrio - Lombardy (5000 inhabitants, 650 s / m) is an ancient village with prehistoric (Park of rock engravings), Longodard, medieval (castles), located on the right of the Adda, at the entrance to Valgrosina and the Mortirolo, at the gates of the upper Valtellina.

The B&B is located along the main road (ex S. S. dello Stelvio) which crosses the whole Valtellina, in a southern position, that is, at the beginning of the town for those coming from Tirano.

• In Grosio it is possible to visit: the park of rock carvings with medieval castle evidence of continuous inhabitation of this region since prehistoric times. The “Rupe Magna” is the largest example of rock carving in the alpine area. Entry to the park is free, but to fully appreciate the history we recommended a guided tour. Gianfranca and Marino manage the b & b together. In our house there is a continuous alternation of moments of absolute peace - in which it is possible to dedicate oneself to hobbies - and moments of intense social relations (children, grandparents, friends, guests of the b & b).
